I loved this game so much! I have played a lot of games but not one of them had compared to the fun I had with this one. Definitely the best game of all time!
Quite literally my favorite game of all time. While it is slower in the beginning, that is because it is a very open tutorial. The only thing remotely bad that I can think of is the Korok seeds, but that’s when you pop open a map with all the korok seeds and go to town.
I really wanted to LOVE this game. I grew up playing Zelda, but I have come to accept that my tastes are different now. For me, this game is too open-world without enough direction. I also detest the weapon degradation mechanic, as it added a level of stress that I found unnecessary compared to my expectations of playing a Zelda game. I understand why die-hard Zelda fans and those who are enamored with open-world free-for-all hail this as an absolute gem, and more power to them! This game has more than enough to make certain gamers VERY happy, but it's just not for me.

If you want to complete the game in its entirety be prepared to commit a lot of time to it. But I promise that it is well worth your time.
Too long and overrated
I fall into the group of people who prefers "old-school Zelda" thanks to its more story-driven approach, tighter progression path, and more condensed format. While BOTW is objectively impressive from a technical perspective, I disliked its bloated open world, meaningless collectibles, repetitive shrine puzzles and divine beasts, and arduous weapon system. It's great as a survival game and puzzle game, but the story - having taken place 100 years before the start of the game - is the least compelling to me out of the Zelda games I've played. It feels unfocused and overwhelming, and to me, not in a good way. It's a good game for many, just not for me.
Save everything
Don't expect this to be like any other Zelda game. Instead of 2-dimensional thinking and reactions, you must develop 3-dimensional thinking and reactions.

It’s perfect. 10/10 experience. I say it’s better than Tears Of The Kingdom.

The ultimate, next gen Zelda.
Puzzles can get a bit tedious, and at times difficult.
A quite abrupt ending for me, almost a touch of an anti climax.
There is no game that quite captures wonder like this one. It is astonishing what Zelda team was able to accomplish with their first open world game. Play this game, you won’t regret it.
